Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy applies to the GaoVPN marketing website, user panel, and subscription services. It explains why data is collected, how it is used, and how it is managed. Third-party payment pages and other external services are subject to their own privacy policies. Read the Terms of Service for service conditions.

Account and Service Data

GaoVPN does not require an email address; an account can be created with a username and password. Providing an email address is not a condition of registration. If users voluntarily include an email address or other contact details in a support ticket, that information is used only to handle the request. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, or complete subscription links in support tickets.

To identify accounts, deliver subscriptions, and verify entitlements, the service processes usernames, account verification information, plan status, aggregated data usage, and order records. Order records include the selected product, amount, payment status, and transaction verification details. Support ticket contents are used to answer questions, handle refunds, and keep necessary processing records; they are not used to build browsing profiles.

What We Do Not Log

GaoVPN does not record which websites users visit through international routes, store browsing content, lists of destinations, or DNS query histories, or retain connection logs that could be used to reconstruct an individual's browsing activity. These browsing and connection logs have no retention period because the service does not keep them as persistent records.

Aggregated data usage used to manage plan limits is billing data and does not include details of websites visited or content accessed. Troubleshooting descriptions, screenshots, and support ticket records submitted by users are support materials, not network access logs. When reporting an issue, submit only the information needed and conceal account credentials and subscription details.

Site Analytics and Local Storage

Site analytics help us understand page views, traffic sources, and entry-point clicks so we can improve content and navigation. Analytics are limited to visits and interactions on the GaoVPN website. They do not track users' activity on other websites after they connect, and are not used to create cross-site browsing profiles.

Cookies and browser local storage are used to maintain necessary sessions, save login tokens, and remember language preferences. Their specific use depends on the features of each page. Users can restrict or clear this data in their browser settings; doing so may require signing in again and resetting preferences. After signing out on a shared device, users should also clear any account data saved in the browser.

Payments and Necessary Disclosures

The service supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment processing involves third-party services, which handle the information needed to complete transactions under their own policies. GaoVPN uses payment results and transaction verification details to confirm orders, deliver entitlements, and provide after-sales support. Users are not asked to provide payment account passwords in support tickets.

GaoVPN does not sell account data. Data is used or disclosed only as necessary to provide the service, handle user requests, or meet applicable legal obligations. If data must be provided by law, disclosure is limited to information actually held that is relevant to the request. The no-logs approach should not be understood as a guarantee about how third-party payment services handle data.

Retention, Access, and Deletion

Account data is retained for as long as needed to maintain accounts and provide the service. Order, refund, and dispute records are retained as required for business operations and by applicable law. Support ticket and analytics data is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed for its purpose. This policy does not set one fixed retention period for every data type, nor does it make indefinite retention of business records the default.

Users can sign in to the user panel support tickets to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data, and specify the account and scope of the request. The service will verify account ownership. Data still needed to process pending orders or disputes, or to meet legal obligations, may not be deletable yet; the reasons and scope will be explained. Deleting an account may affect subscription access, so resolve any pending matters first.

Policy Updates and Questions

If service features or data handling practices change, GaoVPN will update this policy and the last-updated month on this page. Significant changes to processing purposes, data scope, or user rights will be announced on the website or in the user panel. Any processing that requires separate consent will follow applicable requirements.

For questions about this policy, data use, or the outcome of a privacy request, contact us through a user panel support ticket. Include the issue and relevant page, and avoid adding personal data unrelated to the request.
